About Scott
Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School, where he also earned a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law.
His background includes private practice, government service, conservation-related work, commercial real estate brokerage, land development, and service as in-house counsel for a Wisconsin real estate company. He has advised property owners, developers, businesses, financial institutions, public interest organizations, and nonprofit organizations on property, development, land use, and business matters.
Scott has substantial experience in land use litigation, permitting, and public policy, including service as Staff Attorney for the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals and Chair of the Oregon State Bar's Real Estate and Land Use Section.
Scott is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, Oregon, and Washington.
